Mertine Moore Brown designed TDG Greeting Card Collection based on very intimate relationships.  The first card is Harri Freddi Brockenberry, Mertine's only child, when he was two years old.  Harri is 15 now. 

The next card is Mertine's four nephews and niece.  They were at an amusement park when they were children and took this fun photograph.  These children are now young adults. 

That handsome man and woman?  That's Freddie King, who married Mertine's mother, Mary Lacy Moore, when she was 75.  Mary raised Mertine and her seven siblings after her husband, their father, Rev. Charles Edward Moore, Jr., died in 1961, just eight short months after receiving his Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University.  The "young" model is Doris Thomas, age 84 and Ms. Senior DC 1992.  She is the founder of Serenity Players, a theater company in Washington, DC.  Ms. Thomas also is a member of Senior Steppers, a group that performs contemporary dance around the DMV (District/Maryland/Virginia).
